Welcome to Sephiria — a top-down action roguelite from TEAM HORAY, the makers of Dungreed. You play as a brave bunny on a quest to save Bunnyville from a demonic invasion. The game features 6 distinct weapons, a strategic inventory grid system, over 300 artifacts, 10+ bosses across 6 chapters, and 4-player online co-op.
Before You Start: Destiny Inscriptions
Complete your first few runs to earn Sapphire gems. Spend them at the Destiny Inscription menu on:
- Home Repair — Unlocks the Talent system (do this first)
- Talent Points ×3 — Get 3 points to start feeling effects
- Heavy Weapon Training — Unlocks Greatsword
- Riley's Gift — Start each run with a free potion
Choosing Your First Weapon
You start with the Sword & Shield. Other weapons unlock via Destiny Inscriptions. See our Weapon Tier List for full rankings, but here's the quick version:
| Tier | Weapon | Why |
|---|---|---|
| S | Staff | AoE elemental damage, best for Hard Mode |
| A | Sword & Shield | Beginner-friendly, balanced offense and defense |
| A | Crossbow | Ranged safety, good for learning boss patterns |
| B | Greatsword | High damage but slow, needs practice |
| B | Katana | Fast, mobile, but requires unlock |
| C | Dagger | Short range, high skill ceiling |
The Inventory Grid System
Sephiria's most unique mechanic. Artifacts have physical shapes and must be placed on a grid. Where you place them matters:
- Adjacent artifacts can trigger combo effects
- Tablets upgrade artifacts in their row/column/radius
- Messy placement wastes artifact potential
See our Tablet Placement Guide for advanced strategies.
Survival Tips for Your First Run
- Don't rush — observe enemy patterns before engaging
- Prioritize HP artifacts early — survival over damage
- Use potions wisely — save them for boss fights
- Learn to dash — dash invincibility frames are your main defense
- Trade artifacts in co-op — give items to teammates who need them
